Law Librarian to the Rescue: Where to Find a Really Old Treatise

Recently, a patron asked where to find a treatise written by Christopher Columbus Langdell in the late 1800s.  It’s not on the shelf.  It’s really old.  Fortunately, the patron asked a law librarian where this could be found and the answer is here.

ANSWER:  Langdell was once the Dean of Harvard Law School and had a major impact on legal education.  Anything written by Langdell is likely a legal classic.  Fortunately, HeinOnline offers a library of Legal Classics and most of Langdell’s works can be found there.
