Trivia: New York’s Highest Court?

For most states, the highest court, i.e. the court of last resort, is usually named the supreme court, but not in New York.  In New York, the Supreme Court is actually a trial court.  The state’s highest court is named the Court of Appeals.  Check Table 1 in the Bluebook.
