39 Brave Men Changed History on This Day

Filed under: Uncategorized — uhlawlibrary @ 9:18 am

Drafted in secret, the United States Constitution was signed on this day in 1787.  Today is Constitution and Citizenship Day.  The National Archives has information on the Constitution on its website.

Legal Research students can take note of this:  “The Fiscal Year 2005 Consolidated Appropriations Act instructs each Federal agency to provide educational materials concerning the United States Constitution to each employee on September 17 of each year, and to provide each new employee with educational materials concerning the United States Constitution as part of the orientation.”
